Windermere Mohair Knee Rugs are woven in New Zealand using a centuries old brushing technique which uses thistles to create the soft brushed downy finish on their mohair throws.

The fibre is sourced mainly from the family farm in the Wairarapa which was one of the early pioneers in farming mohair, alpaca and cashmere wool. Most of the extensive range of colours are available in both knee rug size or throw size.
